How long is Hung Phat’s warranty? (Updated warranty policy 2026)

Which Cases Qualify for Free Warranty Service?

For Suitcase:

Products are eligible for free warranty service in cases of manufacturing defects involving the following parts: telescopic handle, carrying handle, wheels, combination lock, zipper, stitching, rivets, and push-button lock.

If a product is no longer in production, Hung Phat will provide equivalent replacement parts that are 70–99% similar to the original.

For Backpack/ Bag:

Products are eligible for free warranty service for issues such as damaged zippers, broken zipper pulls, torn handles/straps, or loose stitching resulting from manufacturing defects during the warranty period.

Cases Not Covered by Warranty

Understanding the cases that are not covered by warranty helps you use and care for your product properly, ensuring your warranty rights remain valid.

For suitcases:

Products are not produced or supplied by Hung Phat
The product is out of warranty.
Damage to the suitcase body/shell (except PP and PC plastic shells covered under separate warranty policies within the warranty period).
Simili (synthetic leather), heat-pressed materials, faux leather, inner lining fabric, frame locks, and aluminum frame hinges.
The product has been changed or modified from its original state.
Damage caused by improper storage, including insect damage, rust, warping, or intentional damage
Damage caused by natural disasters, floods, or fire.
Normal wear and tear from regular use

For Backpack/bag:

Products that are no longer under warranty
Damage caused by natural disasters, tearing, or fire/explosion
Simili, heat-pressed materials, and faux leather

Warranty process:

Hung Phat has designed a clear and straightforward warranty process to ensure customers receive support as quickly as possible:

Step 1: Report the issue. customers or retailer contact the sales department or customer service team to describe the product condition immediately after receiving the item or as soon as a defect is discovered.
Step 2: Warranty submission (choose one of two methods)

At the point of sale: sales staff, delivery personnel, or authorized dealers receive the product directly at the point of sale or forward it to the company.
At the company: customers or retailers bring the product directly to the warranty service center, where sales/customer service staff receive it.

Step 3: Inspection & approval. The product is inspected and classified (chargeable or free warranty service), submitted for approval, and then handed over to the specialized technical department for processing.

Step 4: Notification of processing time & cost. Customers will be informed of the estimated return time and any additional charges (if applicable) before service is carried out.

Step 5: Product return. After warranty service is completed, the product is returned to the customer or retailer on schedule.

Processing time: 1–20 days
